The Project
We had not worked with this client before and whilst they had a track record of refurbishing smaller units in the Brighton area, this was a much bigger project than they were used to doing. This coupled with some restrictive planning issues and dealings with English Heritage made the project slightly more of a challenge than normal.
We sourced funding with a well know development lender who the client had not borrowed from before. Despite this, the application process went smoothly with any minor issues being ironed out prior to draw down and throughout the project.
Unlike other consultants we prefer to be involved in the project throughout the development period which enables us to deal with any issues as and when they crop up rather than allowing them to become a problem at a later date.
The client was delighted with the finished product and has since recommended us to another of his development colleagues.
