The Project
We had been in discussion with this client over many months regarding various development opportunities. The client had worked previously for a National House builder but had never done a project in his own right and he was concerned that this might limit his funding options.
It was however obvious to us from the first discussions that this project was going to be very successful in terms of sales and as the client had appointed a very well established contractor to build the units for him, we were confident that we would be able to arrange funding for him.
Funding was agreed with a senior debt lender at 60% of GDV and the project was a great success with the bank being repaid on time.
The client went on to do 2 more projects in quick succession both of which we also managed to finance for him and we are currently in discussion with him in respect of a new scheme.
